Workplace Vaccinations

Our practice provides on site workplace vaccinations. Influenza, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Diphtheria/Tetanus/Pertussis vaccination programs are readily available. Employers are encouraged to phone our Practice Manager to discuss your work place vaccination requirements and obtain a quote for a Nurse to provide the vaccinations on site.

Workers Compensation Management and Rehabilitation

Our practice is experienced with patients who are injured at work or in a motor vehicle accident. Our Doctors provide occupational health and rehabilitation management in conjunction with other health providers and the work place to assist you to return to your previous capacity and employment. We will participate in case conferences with the patient and rehabilitation providers.

Employment Medical Examinations

Doctors at The Surgery are available to conduct various medicals, including:

• Corporate and Pre-employment Medicals
• Health and Life Insurance Medicals
• Commercial Driver’s licence
• Diving/Scuba Medicals
• Workcover Medicals

As medicals require specific paperwork and sometimes specific tests, when making your appointment please inform reception staff the type of medical required so enough time and the correct personnel can be arranged.

We can perform spirometry, basic audiometry and electrocardiography on site. Arrangements are made for drug screening and functional capacity evaluation is referred off site.
